Love The Skin You’re In with CellRenew Microneedling

It's that time of year again when we often notice our skin looks a little dull and tired due to the environmental stresses of the winter months.

How can we help revitalise and reset your skin?

One of the ways we can do this is with our CellRenew Microneedling treatment.

So what is it and how can it help?

Just a few interesting facts to begin…

We use the SkinPen Precision device, with its patented fine-needling cartridge. This glides across the skin, creating thousands of microchannels, which stimulates the body’s natural regenerative process… what's not to love about regenerating our skin!.

It is approved to treat all skin tones, also melasma, pigmentation, vitiligo, acne scarring, fine lines, and wrinkles, it also helps reduce pore size. Not forgetting its benefit for anti-aging skin rejuvenation even if you feel you don't have any of these concerns.

So how do we make this special at Lumiere MediSpa?

We have developed our signature Cell Renew Microneedling Treatment by combining this amazing device with a professional serum that is infused deep into the skin. Calecim serum contains growth factors and proteins to rebuild structural layers to regain firmness and elasticity, all whilst you bathe under collagen-stimulating LED light therapy.  This combination gives your skin the optimum support it needs to achieve consistent results.

So what does it do?

It stimulates your own collagen and elastin, which means your skin rejuvenates from the inside out, in doing so this also has a positive effect on other concerns of the skin. The human body is amazing!

Are there any risks?

It's probably fair to say that everything comes with an element of risk, which is why we always consult with our patients before planning any treatment. There are certain things to be mindful of, such as any wounds or infections, however, we will advise you if we think you are not suitable for treatment but most people are.

There are some circumstances micro needling would not be suitable, such as pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Does it hurt?

We can take care of this concern by applying topical anesthetic cream 30 minutes before your treatment, which significantly reduces any discomfort.

Is there any downtime? This is the most frequently asked question, and it's another great question!

Yes, there is some downtime, but oh so worth it!

After each treatment we ask all our patients to follow a 3-day skincare regime, we provide each patient with a post-care kit, with everything you need.

You will be red immediately after treatment; I'm not kidding when I say red!!,  this is a good sign! From our experience most patients say their redness reduces substantially after 24 hours; for some patients, milder redness can remain for a bit longer.

How often should I have Cell Renew Microneedling?

This depends; some people will achieve their desired result after one treatment. However, with most skin concerns, we recommend a course of 3 six weeks apart. Then consider having a boost around once a year!

Has the Lumiere team had this treatment?

100% yes, and we love the results! It also gives us the opportunity to share our experiences when caring for our patients.

How do I book the treatment?

We recommend our existing patients contact us so we can check if any of their medical histories have changed and make your appointment.

We invite all our new patients for a consultation so we can spend time answering all your questions and making a plan.

In the meantime, keep your skin hydrated, and please protect it from sunlight, even during cold and rainy days!!
