The Lumiere Medispa journey to relaxation
The welcome
Walking into Lumiere Medispa you will be greeted by a member of the front of house team and escorted through to the tranquillity lounge, waiting area. A drop of Comfort Zone, Tranquillity Oil, a blend of Orange Blossom, Cedar Wood and Rose oil will be applied to your wrist. Take a deep breath in of the Tranquillity Oil a blend of oils specifically chosen to aid in relaxation to start you on your journey to relaxation.
The Booths
You will have your own private waiting booth, calmly lit and comfortable to relax and unwind in. This is an opportunity before your appointment to sit back and relax and have some well deserved ‘me time’. We encourage our patients to arrive 10-15 minutes before their appointment to take the opportunity to relax and use this opportunity to not to look at your phone and try and forget about the world outside.
Some treatments require an anaesthetic cream applying in order to make the procedure more comfortable our booths provide a relaxing private space for this this pre-treatment cream.
The Tranqilli-Tea
Melt the day away with our own blended tea with ingredients chosen to help fight the effects of mental stress and oxidative stress . Our Tranquilli-Tea is a blend of Tulsi leaves, Rose and Hibiscus each tea has been chosen for their unique properties.
Tulsi Leaves
Tulsi is considered an adaptogen, a natural herb that helps your body adapt to outside stressors and reduce cortisol hormone release, known to put the stoppers on skin collagen production.
Rose
Rose tea is rich in polyphenols, such as gallic acid, anthocyanins , kaempferol and quercetin. These antioxidants help neutralise free radicals and contribute to good skin health.
Hibiscus
Hibiscus has been shown to have antidepressant and anti-anxiety effects, regulates blood pressure and blood sugar levels, reduces inflammation in the body and is a natural weight-stabilising herb.
The Music
In each private waiting booth you have relaxing serene music playing. Binaural beats are an auditory illusion perceived by the brain when two slightly different frequencies of sound are played into each ear (bi – two, aural- ear).
